COURSE OVERVIEW
Standard First aid with Level C CPR. 100% participation is required to complete the first aid course successfully.

COURSE OUTLINE
Day One:
  • Introduction / Welcome 30 minutes
  • The Red Cross 10 minutes
  • Preparing to Respond 20 minutes
  • The Emergency medical Services System 10 minutes
  • Check, Call Care 90 minutes
  • Airway Emergencies 90 minutes
  • Breathing and Circulation Emergencies 45 minutes
  • Supper 30 minutes
  • Respiratory and Cardiac Arrest 90 minutes
  • Wound Care 45 minutes

    Day Two:
  • Welcome Back (Q & A) Reflection of Day One 15 minutes
  • Scenario Review from day one Content 30 minutes
  • Head and Spine Injuries 45 minutes
  • Bone, Muscle and Joint Injuries 60 minutes
  • Bone, Muscle and Joint Injuries continued 60 minutes
  • Sudden medical Emergencies 30 minutes
  • Environmental Emergencies 30 minutes
  • Poisons 30 minutes
  • Knowledge Evaluation 45 minutes
  • Wrap-up 15 minutes
