COURSE OVERVIEW
This informative program looks at the steps that must be taken to safeguard employees when working in confined spaces.
Viewers will become familiar with the hazards associated with confined spaces and the procedures necessary for a safe confined space entry.
The handbook, Confined Spaces Entry and Emergency Procedures, accompanies the program.
Contents include employer duties, work procedures for entering a confined space, how to recognize a confined space, confined space hazards, developing a program, confined space entry permit system, personal protective equipment, rescue procedures, confined space entry plan elements, Ontario Regulation 632/05 (General Confined Space Reg.), and regulation comparisons.

Personal Protective Equipment: hard hat, safety glasses, work boots and gloves are required.
